I’ve had Sleep Number beds for years, but I found out after I got the last one 4 yrs ago that it couldn’t be adjusted w/o downloading their app, setting up a user account & using a bluetooth connection from my phone to link the bed to the mothership.

The only way to opt out was to call & order a remote for an extra $60 & wait a couple weeks for delivery. The extra hurdles to demand #privacy of my biometric data are infuriating, but absolutely worth jumping.
