I'm using from a while the F2FS filesystem for storage USB key and SSD.I'm sure few heard of it, it promises better transfer rate, reliability and less wear on these supports, and it keeps the promises! Also, no issues to transfer thousands of small files in one go than what I had with EXT or FAT.
Cons: common devices don't support it. But if you have need to move files between two Linux/BSD machines or a backup disk, is excellent.

    • Votre matériel est obsolète ou incompatible avec les dernières mises à jour propriétaires ?
    • Vous souhaitez découvrir des outils gratuits, documentés et respectueux de vos données ?
    • Vous voulez apprendre à sauvegarder vos données et installer un nouveau système en toute sécurité ?

    1. Échanges conviviaux : Présentation des besoins et des attentes de chacun.
    2. Sauvegarde des données : Conseils pour sécuriser vos fichiers avant toute installation.
    3. Installation guidée :
      • Systèmes d’exploitation (ex. Fedora)

                                                    Does anyone know where I can find my VLC cache folder on Linux Mint, with all the cover art in my library ? I need to clear a cover that I have replaced in the file, meanwhile VLC currently doesn't appear to realize the mp3's custom cover has been changed. I want to force its hand XD

                                                    I knew what to delete back on Windows, but of course we're not in Kansas anymore.
                                                    (I imagine @videolan knows, but... :P )
