Arch Linux 近期遭遇嚴重的資安威脅，其用戶貢獻儲存庫（AUR）爆發大規模惡意軟體感染事件。事態起初僅發現 400 個套件受影響，但隨著調查深入，災情迅速擴大，最終確認多達 1,579 個套件遭植入惡意程式碼。Arch Linux 開發團隊已於事件當日採取行動，全數刪除已知受污染的提交記錄。儘管目前官方認為事件已受到控制，但此次大規模滲透凸顯了依賴社羣維護儲存庫的潛在風險。

Saturday, but self hosting, so here we go. Earlier in this month (Disclosed June 3, 2026.) HTTP/2 Bomb (CVE-2026-49975) dropped.. fitting "bomb" dropped. It's not an exploit (no auth, no RCE, no data theft) but a denial of service targeting HTTP/2, If you are not using the mod_http2, carry on. If you are and it is under 2.0.41 this matters. If you updated Nginx this week from source, you may have the fix already, not sure yet if Debian backported it.

An attacker can make the web server consume all of it's memory. Estimating that a single attacker can blow out 32Gb of ram over a 100Mb line in about 20 seconds. This is a combination of two older attacks, HPACK amplification and Slowloris, amplifying the attack and keeping the connections open to HTTP/2.

Disable HTTP/2 if you don't use it. Upgrade if you do. I am assuming that ulimits and systemd version of ulimits will protect the box from going down, but not the DoS of websites.

Nginx v1.29.8+ (max_headers directive, default is 1000)
Apache httpd mod_http2 v2.0.4, it may not be bundled into all distro apache2 packages yet.
Set ulimits!!!

I finished my experiment of porting GPUs to Emacs.

The GPU backend shares a neutral drawing policy across Metal (macOS) and OpenGL (Linux); two drivers, one architecture.

Performance charts (absolute fps, cairo vs GPU):
1616x912 frame: GPU ahead on full redraws (1.19x), at parity on page scrolls
4K frame: GPU pulls ahead on motion (typing 7.4x, image scroll 11.5x)
macOS M1 Pro: vsync on saves 35% CPU during scroll without losing responsiveness.

However, for smaller resolutions the CPU wins.

This version makes sense if you want animations, transitions, or to play GIFs or videos.

The ESP32-E22 tri-band Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 module has received a Wi-Fi CERTIFIED certificate from the Wi-Fi Alliance, and Espressif has also released WiFi and Bluetooth Linux drivers for the chip. The ESP32-E22 was first unveiled at CES 2026 with a dual-core RISC-V processor clocked at up to 500 MHz, 1MB RAM, tri-band WiFi 6E tested up to 2.1 Gbps with iperf, and dual-mode Bluetooth 5.4/6.0. While it also features 41 GPIO pins, it’s not mainly designed for IoT projects, but instead targets host-based wireless systems needing WiFi 6E / Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity through PCIe 2.0 or SDIO interfaces. In other words, the ESP32-E22 will likely show on M.2 modules, competing against similar products from MediaTek and Intel. Espressif has not said which module was tested for the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED certificate, but I suspect it should be the upcoming ESP32-E22-M2-1 M.2 module listed on the company’s website.
