I have been thinking of signing up on open source chat platform for quite some time, and we are entering the second half of 2026 which means that Discord will implement global age verification at anytime, it is starting to be urgent for me to have an account on an open source chat platform.

Thing is, what is preventing me from being on open source chat platform is that I am having a choice paralysis. I'm not sure if I should go for Fluxer, Matrix or XMPP. 🤔

I could sign up on all three... but... this idea just... I kind of don't like it... I would prefer to only be on one platform.
