Wie man die letzten Tage evntl. gelesen hat, überlege ich schon eine Weile, ob ich mich nicht privat wieder mehr "kreativ" rumfuzzeln möchte - gescheitert isses meist daran das es keine Basis gab worauf ich das kreative mit meinem aktuellen Skillset anwenden soll.

Estas capturas tal vez serán de algún momento a inicios o mediados del 2007. La distro todavía sería #Ubuntu 6.06, o tal vez ya la habría actualizado a 6.10, con #GNOME 2. Todavía tenía una partición con Windows, obviamente toda llena de monas chinas .

Ya me estaba acostumbrando a la #Linux way, y el tener ADSL me había facilitado todo enormemente.

El error clásico en servidores de Minecraft: asignarle 32 GB de RAM "por si acaso". ⚠️

En Java, dar demasiada memoria hace que el Garbage Collector cause congelamientos (lag spikes) masivos al limpiar.

La clave no es darle más RAM, sino optimizar los argumentos de la JVM y elegir el recolector adecuado (como ZGC). 🧠

The level of pedantry in the replies is unreal. I know the Linux/FOSS crowd can be pedantic, but come on.

The Linux phone category is about phones running standard Linux systems, not Android/AOSP derivatives.

What makes a Linux phone:

• Package managers (apt, pacman, apk)
• Standard GNU/Linux tooling without Android wrappers
• FOSS interfaces like Phosh or Plasma Mobile
• No Google/Apple app ecosystem dependency

Actual options:

• @pine64 (PinePhone) - hardware made for Linux
• @volla - ships with Ubuntu Touch option
• Used Android phones repurposed with @postmarketOS or @mobian

The honest tradeoff: These won't match Android/iOS for battery, call reliability, or app availability. The modem is still proprietary blob territory regardless.

But the category matters because it is about what you can run and who controls it, not kernel semantics.

If someone needs a daily driver and doesn't trust Google/Apple: repurposed Pixel with postmarketOS, or accept Android with hardened privacy settings. If they want to tinker/support the ecosystem: PinePhone.

Both are valid depending on whether you need a phone that works or a phone you own.

Dejé en 1900 los paquetes RPM, sin romper el sistema; había logrado dejarlos en 1400, pero siempre rompía algo. Al menos dejé limpio de software de GNOME que nunca usaba ni me interesaba.
Logré dejar transactional update de forma automática, así que todos los días se actualiza solo y me envía una notificación GNOME cuando lo hace.

Dejé al fin el sistema como quiero; ahora será una vida de solo usar, llena de paz.

Files in an ext4 system can have colons and slashes and stuff, but in exfat they can't. This has been messing with my rsync backup attemts. Instead of giving you an error, rsync apparently just skips those files. Grrrrr.
