@ericsfraga My pleasure! The advice system is an elegant #Emacs feature. I actually use it ~ 207 times in my own configuration. It helps a lot for injecting custom logic without needing to fork the original package or wait for an upstream maintainer to add a hook.

tl;dr: a lot of my own words as I try to understand Embark and how to use it, in which I learn some things. With a bonus new Embark target for stuff in text mode buffers because Embark is not tuned for that and has undesired behavior.

(And a Flycheck target too, but probably everyone has one of those.)
